No students will be able to register for sacramental preparation classes (2nd grade and 9th grade) after the 3rd meeting of regular class sessions except if they have just moved into the area or have just registered with the parish. This policy allows for people who move into the area after the RE year has begun, yet maintains the integrity of catechesis in preparation for the meaningful reception of the sacrament.

Fair Share Guidelines
As a Catholic Christian Community, we recognize that here at St. Mary, our parish households are diverse and unique in their needs, resources, and abilities. Our school and religious education programs have adopted Fair Share Plans of service and tuition to meet the fiscal and real needs of our programs; as well as to recognize the varied circumstances of our parish households. Christian Stewardship holds that our time, talent, and treasure are gifts from God to be shared among all the community. Recognizing the real gifts of the people of our parish, we ask each household in the Religious Education program to commit to a service and financial agreement. There is no commitment too small, no gift of time, talent, and treasure unappreciated.
We ask each of our parish households to be aware of the real cost to the parish of religious education programming. Based on that awareness, we trust you to make a responsible decision about what you can reasonably afford to pay. The decision needs to be made in light of your own fiscal situation, in light of the value you place on faith education, and in light of your time and talent commitment to the parish’s faith education programming.
When determining the amount of your financial support, please consider the actual cost of faith education for each child. For the 2008/09 year, our cost for educating one child will be $261.00, Kindergarten through high school. We ask each household to make a just commitment to the program. No one is denied access to faith education due to inability to pay.
